Kids Health - A must go to site full of wonderful and accurate information for kids, teens and parents. PBSKids - Good resource for lesson ideas and to send students to research. Kids Help Line - It is an Australian helpline however, the material available for mental health and suicide prevention is very informative. Young Minds - Informative information on mental health for our adolescents. The Health Teacher - a site full of lesson ideas, PD opportunities and resources for kids based. Teen Mental Health - a UK based site with extensive information about teen mental health issues and suicide prevention and support Think Act Grow - a wonderful site for everyone on all things teen health. The site includes information, resources and initiatives you can implement with your school, family or friend group. E-Cigs & Tobacco - this s a twitter chat feed that dissuces skill based health ed practices surrounding E-Cigs & Tobacco. A wonderful resource where other health educators have shared their success stories. Word Generation - you can find a wide variety of one of lessons from dress code, smoking, becoming an adult. They are comprehensive, ideal for extension activities and / or ELL learners. I love using these as time fillers, controversial conversation starters or motivators into "hot" topics Play it Safe - this is a website by the NSW government in Australia. 6th Grade students of mine found this and love it. They have shared this with their parents. The site is applicate to teens and parents. It's pronounced Metrosexual is a really informative site helping people understand the difference between identity, expression, sex and sexually attracted to. My students found this when looking for resources for a project. We recommend it to others.

Stay Teen - the perfect side for older teenagers wanting information around sexual health. A good resource for Sex Ed in your classroom. It Gets Better - is a project supporting LGBT students. Teachers discussing LGBT issues in class or Gay Straight Alliances will find a world of support and information here. ASHA - American Sexual Health Association has a site dedicated to teens and addresses the issue of Teen Dating Violence effectively. Planned Parenthood - provides material for classrooms and is a wonderful resource for parents, teachers and students. Amaze - A new very cool youtube channel with the moto "more info, less weird" Find some fun and friendly videos on sexed for 10-14yr olds. Mindful Schools - A brilliant website on mindful meditation techniques, newsletters and courses for teachers. Sleep - this site is sponsored by a duvet company. However, has some wonderful infomercials and tips for improving sleep. Brain Rules - a MUST see site. If you want to improve learning then check out the science behind how we learn and what we do to improve. Girls Health - a fab site for girls, covers all topics including time management, friendship, communication and puberty. Time Management Resources - an extensive collection of additional sites that offer help in managing time and prioritizing tasks. Teaching Sexual Health - a Canadian resource that has lesson by lesson units and lesson plans. Additionally this link takes you direct to the sexuality wheel, a comprehensive look at all necessary components of sexual health.
